Rosita

Rosita is from the highland town of Cajamarca, Peru. She was born on Sept 21, 1995 and has completed fifth grade and has an adorable daughter name Yarely. 

Rosita is our lead knitter! After witnessing her raw talent & passion for 3 years, we hired her as a master consultant for our Chimuk collections. She gives advice in stitch patterns, needle size, and helps orient the rest of the artisans. She also assists with inventory & quality control.

Rosita earns money from her beautiful knit products as well as a salary for the extra hours she dedicates to Chimuk. Rosita loves learning new techniques and styles and has a dynamic personality and is a natural leader. Before her work with Chimuk she was a full time housewife, or "ama de casa"
